This estate is located in the Perthshire countryside, where the highlands begin. When it first opened in 1924, the estate was described as a “Riviera in the Highlands”. Today this estate in the heart of Scotland is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Gleneagles offers a five-star luxury hotel, three championship golf courses, award-winning spa and the only two Michelin star restaurant in Scotland.

Transport:

The estate has it’s own train station and you can get there from London by train in five hours or one hour from Glasgow or Edinburgh by car.

There is Andrew Fairlie’s two Michelin-starred restaurant as well as the Strathearn Restaurant that has two Rosettes and a pianist. The bar offers glamour for a drink before dinner or a nice place for lunch or afternoon tea. The Deseo Restaurant serves dishes like tapas, grilled beef and fresh seafood. Breakfast in the Strathearn is recommended for starting your day.
