Guide to Parking at Heathrow Airport: Good to Go Parking Review
Trying to find the best parking service at Heathrow Airport?
There are many parking options available at Heathrow airport and whenever I go away I’m always looking for something cheaper than taking a taxi. I personally find the Good To Go Parking service to be pretty straightforward and a low-cost option. It also takes the hassle out of things when going away can often be stressful enough.
If you’re planning parking at Heathrow Airport, then it’s important to book your space ahead of time to get the cheapest rate. There are a few car parks to choose from, and what’s nice is that Heathrow has car park security and transfers that are free of charge.
Good to Go Parking service
The Good to Go Parking service at Heathrow Airport offers three different options to choose from. These options include:
- Meet & Greet: They park your car and you take a short walk to your terminal.
- Park & Ride: Nice option for value long-stay parking
- Drop & Ride: When you drop your car and take a quick ride to the terminal.
Meet & Greet
Terminals: 2, 3, 4 & 5
Best for: Having all of your parking worries taken care of – quick, convenient and stress free. They will park your car and you take a short walk to the terminal.
What does it include? With this service you can book the parking service before booking your flight. All you have to do is drive to the terminal you’re departing from and a chauffeur will meet you. You can handover your keys and they will park your car for you. When you return from holiday, your car will be brought back to where you dropped it off so you can get home quickly.
Price: from £7.80 a day. No minimum stay. Bookings need to include a Saturday night.
Park & Ride
Terminals: 2, 3, 4 & 5
Best for: Perfect if you’re on a budget and great value for long-stay parking. This option is less expensive than the Meet and Greet Service.
This option includes: With Park & Ride you can take your car to the car park and your number plate will be scanned at the barrier. You can take your ticket at the barrier and keep it in as fae place, find a parking space and then catch a shuttle bus to the terminal.
On the way home you can catch a shuttle to the car park, put your ticket in the barrier and collect your car.
This option doesn’t include: This option doesn’t include transfers but it’s still easy to catch the Heathrow Hoppa (regular shuttles) to terminals 2 and 3 or even a taxi to the terminal you need. The shuttles come every ten minutes and will take you right to your terminal.
Price: From £4.95 a day. There is no minimum stay but bookings need to include Saturday night.
Drop & Ride
Terminals: 4 & 5
Best for: Stress free experience. You won’t have to worry about searching for a parking space. Just drop your car and take a quick ride to the terminal.
This option includes: With the Drop & Ride parking service, you drop your car off and they will park it for you. Then you can take a free bus ride to Terminal 4 or 5 departures. On your way back, there are shuttle buses available to bring you to the car park. When you get to the car park you can call a number where your car will be ready to be picked up.
This option is nice because the bookings are flexible and you can change your booking up to midnight the day before arrival.
