Relaxing and comforting I am a member of the Ragdale Hall Country Club so I am a regular visitor. It's warm and cosy and as soon as I walk in I feel relaxed and at peace. I usually have a swim and a sauna, then relax in one of the lounges and read the newspaper. I also go to fitness classes and have a pampering session, e.g. facial when I can. There is a small dress shop where I very often get just the right outfit and also a beauty shop and a gift shop. In the summer, the grounds are a fabulous place to sit in the sun and the outdoor pool is spot on. Good food is available in a choice of dining areas. The indoor pools and the spa area are spectacular especially the latest addition Altogether a lovely destination.antheabrown6611/07/2018
Fantastic Break Just returned from Ragdale spa with 4 friends. We stayed for a 2 night taster break which was expensive but worth every penny. I upgraded our room to a superior plus and also both my treatments to an aromatherapy massage and a radiance facial which I would highly recommend. The therapists are very professional and give you a great experience.Food is ok. Lunch Buffet is great with plenty of choice for everyone but I was not overly keen on the breakfast. It would be great if a healthy option cooked breakfast could have been offered. There are a great choice of Saunas and steam rooms to go into and the star of the show is the rooftop infinity pool which was just superb!!There are lots of places to go and relax.A great Boutique is in the reception area that sell lots of lovely clothes and accessories as well as magazines. There is also a shop that sells lots of products including Elemis, Clarins and Decleor.I will definitely be returning back to Ragdale.wonderwomanEssex10/28/2018
Dressing gown heaven! I have been going to Ragdale Hall with three friends every December for the last 22 years, and cannot praise it too highly. From the friendly welcoming staff who can never do enough for you, to the beautiful surroundings and bedrooms, the moment you arrive everyday stress just falls away. The facilities are second to none, the food is to die for, and the treatments are varied and excellent. Its possible to really dress up for the wonderful meals in the atmospheric restaurant if you really want to, but like many others our group never gets out of our dressing gowns during the whole of our stay!! There's something very liberating about eating cordon bleu meals with wine (or champagne) whilst snuggled in a fluffy white gown. You can be very lazy or very active , everyone is encouraged to do what suits them best. There is something for everyone, and the place just wraps itself around you ! Highlights are the wonderful breakfasts delivered to you in bed, and the magical new infinity pool up on the first floor, with stunning views over the countryside. In a nutshell, Ragdale is simply the best. Superb Rooftop Infinity Pool! I went to Ragdale Hall Spa with my two daughters. This was our first time and all the staff seem lovely! A quick tick form to fill in, a white robe is handed to each person with times for meals etc and then you are seated for a welcome drink (at this point! it would have been nice if the choice of a glass of fizz was included to make it that little bit special as it was my daughters birthday). A member of staff gave us a map and pointed us in the direction of the changing rooms. A wonderful thermal spa with different steam rooms and amongst other things an amazing rooftop jacuzzi infinity pool with views over the garden and countryside in the day, which transforms to to a romantic oasis at night.JoMurphy710/13/2018
AMAZING Ragdale Hall is by far one of the best spas I have been to. The decor and ambience is just lovely. I treated my friend to an evening spa experience and we both loved every minute. The staff were all so nice and the food was divine. The new infinity pool was just amazing. Thank you so much Ragdale we can't wait to return.claireladams110/14/2018
Another great birthday 🙂 I usually go to Ragdale for my birthday every year. I didn't go last year due to other commitments, so it was really nice to go again this year. The new pool and lounge are fantastic - a nice addition. The staff are amazing - i mentioned it was my birthday when i arrived at reception and i got a lovely happy birthday platter at both lunch and dinner - very very thoughtful, thank you! 🙂 I don't get this every year, so it was really nice and made the day extra special. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff - they are always smiling and really helpful. Highly recommended!heidi r10/03/2018
