Hen party Where to start let's do the negative first although it's very minor The pool was very spacious but do I want to pay £90 to be splashed listen to children screaming having fun while parents relax and read a magazine I understand that this is time limited where children are allowed into the pool area but it's a spa do I know what the solution is for hotel guests with children I don't The ladies changing room is so very very hot that it made getting showered and dressed applying make up and styling hair an uncomfortable experience The positives the spa is excellent the staff are very friendly professional and helpful all of the facilities are clean tidy The 3 course lunch was just amazing cooked to perfection and extremely tasty the drinks are a little pricey but it's what I would have expected Would I go again indeed I would the above were minor irritations for me but one of our party found it extremely annoying mainly because of her hair Give Rockcliffe a visit you won't be disappointed the time flew buy very very relaxing gowns slippers and towels are provided along with shampoo conditioner hair dryers and other productscreative195311/06/2018

Couple spa break Decided to treat my wife to a spa break before her return to work after maternity leave. Booked the couple's getaway. Can't fault anything. The staff were very helpful and polite, which we have found on our previous visit. The spa facilities were excellent as were the 2 spa treatments in had booked. Really enjoyed the food served in the Brasserie. Yes it costs a bit but I feel it is worth every penny. Thanks for making our stay a wonderful experience.stevenhC5894HW11/28/2018
Family break Lovely 2 nights stay at half term the new children’s play area is very nice and all the staff were very helpful and friendly only minor issue is the new set up at breakfast which wasn’t as good as previous visits and also the new addition of charging £4.50 for a cappuccino at breakfast but this would not put me off returning.Simon N11/01/2018
Anniversary As ever this has been a lovely one night stay. Everything from the greeting by the concierge to the spa therapist has been very good. Rockliffe has a grand yet relaxed feel about it.Our Clayton Suite was beautiful and spacious. Only the small shower let it down somewhat. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed our first experience of a tasting menu in The Orangery- our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Breakfast in The Orangery didn’t disappoint. The room is pretty and the sun was streaming in this morning.I had a spa treatment and it was one of the best massages I have ever received. We enjoyed some time in the pool area (which I don’t think is one of the best; both Ramside and Seaham are better in my opinion) and used some of the hot/cold rooms. The outdoor jacuzzi is nice but could definitely be bigger. Overall we have really enjoyed our one night away from home and feel relaxed.loisellen2710/28/2018
